Infection Control Guideline

To ensure that all participants and speakers can attend JSAC2022 safely, this guideline outlines the infection control measures that JPCERT/CC will carry out at the venue. Please follow this guideline if you physically attend the event. We kindly ask for all participants' understanding and cooperation.


Request for all participants at the venue

  1. If any of the following conditions apply to you, please refrain from coming to the venue. Check back two weeks before the date of the event.
  2. Wear a disposable surgical mask appropriately at the venue. If you are allergic to the fabric, please inform the reception staff.
  3. Anyone with a body temperature of 37.5°C or higher at the reception will not be able to enter the venue.
  4. Disinfect and wash your hands frequently.
  5. Keep your distance from others at the venue and refrain from moving chairs and tables.
  6. Keep your distance when talking to others and refrain from talking loudly at the venue.
  7. Eating and drinking is allowed at the venue, but please do so quietly while keeping a physical distance from others. During lunch, please keep a distance of at least one metre from others.
  8. We recommend installing “COCOA”, the COVID-19 contact confirming application.

Our policies to prevent transmission of COVID-19 at the venue

  1. The number of participants at the venue will be limited to no more than 50% of the room capacity. (including audience, speakers and staff)
  2. The seats will be arranged at least one metre away from others.
  3. The number of remaining seats in the venue (Track 2) will be constantly monitored and entry restrictions will be placed as necessary to ensure that the number of the participants does not exceed the capacity limit.
  4. Ventilation system will be constantly running at the venue. (approx. 5 times per hour)
  5. Transparent partitions and a sufficient distance will be placed between the speakers and the participants.
  6. Facilities and equipment at the venue such as door handles, tables and microphones will be regularly disinfected.
  7. Hand sanitising alcohol will be available throughout the venue.
  8. At the reception desk, the waiting lines will be widely spaced to avoid overcrowding.
  9. Flow lines will be designed to prevent participants from approaching each other.

Our policies to prevent staff from contracting COVID-19

  1. Every staff will take PCR test approximately 72 hours before the event.
  2. Health condition of each staff will be monitored for two weeks prior to the event. If any staff member or their family members are unwell, the staff will not be allowed to work on the day of the event.
  3. Every staff will be required to take temperatures, wear masks, disinfect hands and eat/drink silently.
