  • Presentation title
  • Presentation length [20minutes or 40minutes]
  • Abstract (800 words in English）
  • Presentation outline (Attach materials related to the presentation, if any.)
  • Choose ONE topic that you think is the closest to your presentation.

  • [C] Incident (investigation, actual handling case, attack methods)
  • [D] Threat trends, intelligence (attack campaign, OSINT, etc.)
  • Has the content of the presentation been already made public before, or is it going to be made public before JSAC2021?
  • If yes, describe the expected updates on the content at JSAC2021 from the previous version.
  • Do you agree to make a part or whole of your presentation material public?(Agree/Agree partly/Disagree)
  • Is there any tool, IoCs, and/or other information for investigation to be published in relation to this presentation? (If yes, describe as detailed as possible)

• JSAC2020 Program Committee will evaluate the applications and select presenters. The result of selection will be notified via email.

  Following presentations will be given a higher priority on the CFP selection process.

  Presentation

  • Presentation that releases a new tool
  • Presentation with information that can be utilized practically in analysis
  • Presentation with high novelty

  Workshop

  • Topic(s) related to widely used technologies and tools
  • Contents that are easily applicable to actual analysis
  • Session with plenty of hands-on activities

  Applications submitted with a detailed draft and materials will be given a higher priority as well.

  The criteria of the selection process will not be disclosed. We appreciate your understanding.

  If a committee member or someone from their organization applies for the presentation, the application will be evaluated by the other committee members.

  Call for Presentation (2nd round)

  The second round of CFP is also planned around October 2020 to include information on the latest incidents that happen after the deadline of the first round of CFP.

  Since only a few applications will be selected in the second round, applying for the first round CFP is recommended if possible.

  Notes:

  Presentations that contribute to or advertise services and/or products of a specific enterprise will not be accepted.

  Please bear in mind that presentations will be broadcasted online.

  To give a presentation or participate online is also a possible option for overseas residents.

  All the materials submitted for application will be used for the program selection only and later be discarded.

  Materials for the presentations will be published at a later date, but if you prefer not to publish your material, please inform the secretariat about your preference in advance.
